How to check if a site is using Elementor (2 methods)

Elementor websites always impress with their sleek animations and smooth transitions, and they always look way better than what I, as a developer, can accomplish.

Whether you’re looking for inspiration or curiosity, you can quickly check if Elementor is being used with two simple methods.

You can 1) check with an online tool or 2) check the source code.

1. Check with an online tool

A free online tool is the easiest and fastest way to check if a website runs with Elementor.

An Elementor detector, like StackCrawler’s, can detect whether a website is using Elementor or not:

  1. Find a website and copy its URL to the clipboard.
  2. Paste it into our Elementor detector.

And that’s it! You will see if the website uses Elementor in a few seconds.

2. Checking the source code

If you’re more technical, you can check the website’s source code (it’s easier than it sounds).

This is how you check the source code of the website:

  1. Go to the website you want to check out.
  2. Right-click and select View Sourcecode.
  3. Press Ctrl + F to search the source code.
  4. Type in “plugins/elementor” or just “elementor”.

If you have matches, the site probably uses Elementor or Elementor Pro.
